9/8 - Research Project

I’m not entirely sure what I would do a research project on. I just like researching things really. I guess I really like speculative biology, but I’m not sure if you can actually research that. I really like things like All Tomorrows, which describes how humans may evolve in different scenarios in outer space, or if vampires were real, how would they biologically work? I would love to think about how tiny changes would contribute to massive change in ecosystems. One I really like to think about is how in a nuclear scenario would ecosystems adapt? We already have some examples, such as the surrounding area of Chernobyl, which still has wildlife which has changed and adapted to the high levels of radiation. If that goes on for numerous generations, what could happen? Its a fun mix of creativity and science, creating these scenarios which could help us better understand what is happening right now.
